Becoming a member of the AMVETS is easy!

 

You only need to provide a DD214* and pay your dues!

That's it!

 

Dues are as follows:

 

$30.00 for an annual membership, due on August 31st of each year.

$250.00 for a lifetime membership

 

 

**Any person who served or is currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States of America at any time after September 15, 1940, is eligible for regular membership in the AmVets, provided such service-when terminated by discharge or release from active duty-is by honorable discharge, honorable sepatation, or general discharge under honorable conditions.** The AMVETS meet the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:30pm.

 **Membership in the Sons of AMVETS are open to all male descendants, grandsons, adopted sons and stepsons, fathers, husbands, widowers, and brothers of members of AMVETS and the deceased members of AMVETS, or the personnel who died and would have been eligible for membership in the parent organization, and are at least eighteen (18) years of age and is not eligible for membership in the parent organization. This is not to include in-laws of any type.**

The Sons of AMVETS meet the 1st Monday of the month at 6pm.

**Membership in AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary is open to the mothers, wives, widows, grandmothers, sisters, daughters and granddaughters of AMVETS and female veterans who are currently serving or who have honorably served in the Armed Forces of the United States, including the National Guard and Reserve components, anytime after September 15, 1940.** The Ladies Auxiliary meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm.

***Membership in the National AMVETS Riders shall be limited to members in good standing of AMVETS,  AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary, and Sons of AMVETS.***  The AMVETS riders meet on the 4th Sunday of every month at 1pm.
